Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in Care Homes - Part Time
Are you an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner, passionate about providing excellent care to frail and older adults in care homes? Do you hold prescriber qualifications and thrive in a collaborative team setting? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Based with the James Cochrane Practice you will work closely with lead care home clinicians in the practice and Kendal PCN to care for patients in local Care Homes. We are looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team, to help deliver high-quality, person-centred healthcare to residents in care homes across Kendal. Your role supports the care of residents in the care homes aligned to the practice, where your skills and passion for the care of frail and older people will be highly valued.

Nurse Administration Assistant / Phlebotomist - Full Time (37 hours)
Job summary
The Nurse Admin Assistant / Phlebotomist position supports our Nursing services by making sure rooms are properly stocked and well organised, clinical waste is properly managed and patient samples taken, are tested and recorded and ready for onward transportation.
Main duties of the job
We require someone to support the nurse team with daily administration tasks which will encompass many important roles including
- receiving, testing and sending patient samples to the laboratory as requested by clinicians,
- stock ordering,
- clinical room stocking
- removal of clinical waste.
- The role would also involve being trained to perform venepuncture
- chaperoning in clinics as required.
You will work within agreed protocols and operating procedures to help ensure the smooth running of the practice and be an important member of the Nursing team.
You with be supported by the whole nurse team and trained appropriately to complete these tasks by the Head of Nursing.
