Senior Pharmacy Technician

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team, this is a new role, so we are looking for someone who can adapt as the role evolves. 

The role: As part of our multidisciplinary team, a qualified Senior Pharmacy Technician will be an integral part of the general practice team. They will work under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Pharmacists to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of prescribed medication to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medicine management
  • Assisting our Clinical Pharmacists with delivering medicines optimisation for our patient population.
  • Technical and administrative support to multi-disciplinary team regarding medication queries raised by patients.
  • Providing clinical support services, within scope of practice, to provide care for patients with long term conditions.
