Child Bereavement UK

Child Bereavement UK helps families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child dies. We support children and young people (up to the age of 25) when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and the wider family when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying.

Face to face sessions are available in Kendal, or by telephone, video and instant messenger.

Every Life Matters

Suicide bereavement is a unique loss. It has been described as one of the most difficult and lonely experiences a person can have, being left with an overwhelming jumble of feelings and thoughts. Though our support is focused in the first months after the bereavement, we want to be there for you in the long term.

We know that grief is a long and bumpy journey, particularly around anniversaries and other significant times, and you can contact us whenever you need to reach out for further support. And in turn we will reach out to check in with you as the months and years go by.
